Scholarships are awarded to individuals pursuing a certificate or degree in at an EETC accredited school, applicants are judged on their academic achievement, leadership activities, and student statement. Preference is given to qualified applicants who exhibit financial need.

Am I eligible to apply? 


You are eligible to apply for EETC's Paul H. Scholten Memorial Scholarship if you are: 


• Full-time student (minimum of 12 credits).

• Currently enrolled in an EETC accredited power equipment program.

• A high school senior who's been accepted for enrollment in an EETC

  accredited power equipment program.


When is the deadline to apply? 


The application must be submitted online by March 6, 2020. 


How do I apply? 


Applications will be accepted only by the online process. Please see Online Application below.


Will I receive notice of being awarded a scholarship? 


Yes, scholarship recipients will be notified by email. 


Who judges my scholarship application? 


The Equipment & Engine Training Council's Scholarship Committee judges all scholarship applications. The committee is comprised of power equipment educators and industry leaders.


How can my scholarship be used? 


The scholarships are solely for educational expenses: tuition, fees, books, tools, supplies, and housing. 


Can I renew my scholarship? 


No, scholarships are non-renewable. However, you may apply again next year, and your application will be considered at that time. 


When will scholarships be awarded?


Scholarships are awarded at our annual conference, April of every year.
