Two Stroke Engine Certification Test 

 

To take an exam, you must have an active membership account, EETC does offer an individual free membership that allows you to take an exam for $59 each.


Manufacturer, Distributor, Dealer, Associations, Associate, and Premium Individual member accounts have preferred pricing of $49 per exam. These member types also gain free access to all of our online course content and electronic study guides (valued at over $400).

 

HOW TO TAKE AN EXAM

If your not a member, click the Register tab and sign up today!

 

If you're already a member, click on the Technician Portal tab and navigate to the Course CatalogCertification Exam and Buy Now.

 

After purchasing an exam, tests are active immediately and are available 1 year from the date of purchase. To access your exam, navigate to the Technician Portal, your exam is listed under the My Learning tab.

 

 

Objective:

To identify and recognize those Two Stroke Engine Technicians who can demonstrate knowledge of the skills necessary to diagnose, service, and repair two stroke engine systems.

 

Test Offered: 

Two Stroke Engine Certification Test: this test contains 150 questions covering knowledge of the skills related to diagnoses, service, and repair in two stroke engine systems. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass the EETC certification test(s).

 

Certified Engine Technician Status Requirement:

Those that are certified in all 3 Engine EETC Certifications: Four Stroke, Two Stroke, and Compact Diesel, are recognized as EETC-Certified Engine Technicians

 

Master Status Requirement:

Those that are certified in 6 of the 8 EETC certifications are recognized as EETC-Certified Master Technicians.

 

Study Guide:

The Two Stroke Study Guide helps to prepare you for the EETC Two Stroke Certification Test. All areas covered in the guide will be included on the test in one form or another. There are sample questions taken from the test in the study guide so that you can check yourself. Recertification:

Technicians must recertify every five years to retain their certification. Please proceed to the Recertification page to learn more about maintaining your certification.
