Membership
Membership in any organization means a belief in the goals and objectives of that organization. Membership in the Equipment & Engine Training Council is no different. The dollars you spend on membership go towards the goal that you believe in; namely, attracting and educating service technicians for the power equipment industry. Our emphasis, as you know, is on education. That means that we are creating and setting the standards for excellence in service through accreditation and certification of schools and technicians. When a dealer hires a certified technician, it is a reflection on you. It is one step forward in alleviating our concern for the industry. It doesn’t matter how much your membership costs because the end result is that your belief in the goal is successful.
Today, there are over 450 people who believe in the EETC. The number grows daily. With our successful dealer brochure, we have increased dealer members from 55 to over 250. As we all know, dealers are the front line of our industry--the primary employers of our service technicians. Their membership in EETC is critical to understanding what we are all about. Each new membership we receive, whether it is a manufacturer, distributor, dealer, association or school, provides us with the economic tool to continue our already successful work. This year we are introducing our student recruitment video which would not have happened without your membership.
